About
As a physiotherapist, Francois is passionate about helping people get back to living life without limits. He believes that a fulfilling life includes meaningful social interactions and understands the significant impact a physical disability can have on these experiences. His goal is to help patients feel confident and capable in their everyday lives. He is particularly passionate about back pain, sports injuries, and longevity.
Education
Originally from the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town, Francois attended DF Malan High School. He then went on to study physiotherapy at Stellenbosch University, graduating in 2019.
Career
Francois began his career by completing his community service year in Upington, where he developed a deep love for the Kalahari. After that, he worked in pediatric physiotherapy in Pretoria before moving to Hermanus in 2021. In 2023, he worked in sports physiotherapy, serving as the head physiotherapist for the Maties Women’s, U/20, and Senior Varsity Cup rugby teams. He joined Attwood and Associates in 2024.
